And this accelerates if you don’t take countermeasures and don’t incorporate movement into your everyday life. It is therefore all the more important to consciously remain active and to create opportunities for yourself to spend your life with movement and variety. Restraining yourself from travel: How can it affect your life?

Weakening relationships

If your family wants to visit family members in another city, the thought may immediately arise: Can I even go on that trip? Or, if your loved ones and friends want to plan an adventurous trip to a beloved destination, you may find yourself feeling a sense of despair. After all, how is it supposed to work? Everyone else can travel, but me? Rather without me?

With MS, trips often don't even get planned, parties are bypassed, weddings are missed, birthdays are skipped. All of this puts a strain on both you and your relationships. Even your partner, who would like to share joyful moments and travel experiences with you, encounters restrictions. Because alone is not a couple.

All these cutbacks that are accepted and put up with can weaken your social bonds, as there seems to be no safe way to say "yes" without jeopardizing your treatment. Protect your relationships and make a wise decision by having the comfort and security of a trusted medication cool bag for your travels.

Dull, monotonous life

If your treatment plan limits your personal participation in outdoor activities, you will inevitably opt for the comfort of your home, which can easily lead to boredom and a monotonous daily routine.

This restricted lifestyle, however, does not contribute to your health, but can be a burden on the mind. It can evoke feelings of sadness and even depression.

The repeated sense of restriction can add to the stress already caused by the inevitable symptoms of MS. A reliable cool bag for your medication like COOL*SAFE can free you from the monotony imposed by these restrictions. COOL*SAFE gives you back that much-needed feeling of self-determination and variety in your everyday life.

Losing self-dependence

To treat your multiple sclerosis, you may be taking medication that slows down the progression of the condition. Such temperature-sensitive medications, however, do not allow you to spend long periods away from home or travel long distances without jeopardizing your treatment. This is a given until you have a reliable cool bag for your medication. There can be a lot of anxiety when traveling with medication. Do you know these thoughts? How can I protect my medication amidst my already heavy luggage? Carrying my important medication will remain a constant problem. A missed dose can lead to a relapse. In that case, I'd rather stay at home. My treatment success could be jeopardized if I explore new travel destinations. The risk is too high for me. It's not worth it for me. Are cool bags safe for travel and, above all, suitable for long-distance journeys? Is a cool bag that I buy in a grocery store or from Amazon safe? While these fears are valid, they are an obstacle to creating precious travel memories and rob you of a profound sense of fulfillment. If these thoughts plague you, rest assured — we have the optimal solution.

Why only COOL*SAFE on all routes?

The biggest risk: Carrying medicines from the pharmacy to the home

The super-short route:

From the moment you start your treatment, taking care of yourself and your medication is key. It starts when you buy your medication. You need to protect your medication and refrigerate it safely.

  • Never use an insufficient cooler bag gift from the medication manufacturer.
  • If the pharmacy offers you a delivery service, ask specifically whether the pharmacy itself has a safe cool bag. Styrofoam boxes or other cool bags in which ice packs and medication are placed next to one another are very dangerous!

They can actually cause irreversible damage to your medication within the first few minutes. Read also: Test: cooler bags.

If you compromise on the functionality of the cool bag, you may save a little money in the short term, but you will quickly pay a high price as your medication will no longer work. COOL*SAFE is a reliable cool bag for the safe transportation of your medication from the pharmacy that protects your health at every turn.

The journey from the pharmacy to your home may be very short for you — but it is too long for your medication.

Leaving your home for medical assistance

Short routes:

Traveling doesn’t just have to be a relaxing break, it can also be an important part of your treatment.

Whether you are seeing a doctor in another city or receiving treatment at a specialized hospital or health resort in another state, you will often need to leave home with your medication.

Even if it only takes half an hour to transport your medication, the first few minutes are the most critical.

Whenever your medications are temperature sensitive, traveling with a secure cool bag becomes a necessity.

You seek out the other treatment center to experience improvement in your symptoms. Sometimes the new treatment gives you relief, but the basic treatment with the medication you brought with you no longer works because the medication is no longer effective due to improper cooling.

Travel during work

Long travel routes:

Are you a field worker and spend several days away from home, or do you attend meetings in other cities or is your workplace itself outdoors? Then you may also need to take your temperature-sensitive medication during this time.

Sometimes these journeys have to be made by car, bus, train or plane. The air conditioning doesn’t always work here… Sometimes you may also have to leave your medication in an unrefrigerated car for several hours.

Many MS patients often have their medication with them at work. The uncertainty as to whether your medication will survive the journey in one piece can be quite stressful. This fear is very real. And this is where the benefits of a secure cool bag come into play.

Not only has your cool bag to prevent the medication from getting too cold in the first few minutes, it also has to maintain a safe temperature of up to 8 °C for many hours. COOL*SAFE provides both.

Travelling to revive your spirits

Short haul and long haul:

Discovering what fulfills the soul on the “journey of life” is an endless and ultimate adventure. This is the philosophical view.

In practical terms, you can experience wonderful, fulfilling moments through travel and excursions. Use your ability to travel and make memories! We all love to look back on our travels and draw on them when we’re not doing so well.

Don’t stay behind, but collect happy moments as food for later. COOL*SAFE is your faithful companion. It protects your medication during scorching high temperatures, hours-long flights, and even months-long trips around the world.

For short or extended journeys, begin your travel with COOL *SAFE!

COOL*SAFE is the only cool bag that is ready for immediate use, protects your temperature-sensitive medication from freezing, and at the same time has the longest cooling time.

Whether in the car or on the plane, the different sizes and designs of our COOL*SAFE® cooler bags ensure a smooth journey. The light color protects the cool bag from heating up unnecessarily when exposed to sunlight. This allows the bag to maintain the required temperature for your medication for longer.

If you opt for a COOL*SAFE® cooler backpack, it is characterized by excellent temperature management: the lower part of the backpack houses the cool bag, while the upper part serves as a conventional daypack. This unique design allows you to access the upper sections without compromising the cooling effect of your medication.

Let COOL*SAFE be your "bodyguard" during your journey. It will give you the security you need to travel relaxed and carefree.

Do not be deceived by false claims!

Upon realizing the need for a reliable cool bag for travel, the immediate question arises: which is the best choice?

As a general rule, you can assume that cooler bags marketed for anything other than medication are very likely to cause your medication to get too cold. If a bag is marketed for transporting food, fresh fishing lures, beer cans and also medication, then it is NOT a safe bag for your medication.

There are two aspects to consider, which you can also read about in more detail on Test: Cooling bags:

  1. Does the medication temperature in the bag drop below 2 degrees?
  2. How long is the cooling duration?

Obtain proof from the cool bag manufacturer that medicines do not get colder than 2°C. If they do get colder, this will destroy your medication and therefore no matter how great the cooling time is, it is no longer of any use anyway.

At this point, don’t be deceived by false claims like “12-hour cooling,” “24-hour cooling,” or “48-hour cooling.” Just know that such claims can be misleading, functioning more as marketing tactics than accurate representations.

If you base your purchase decision solely on such tempting time specifications, the medicines stored in these cooler bags can actually freeze and be destroyed as a result. Furthermore, such a time specification has nothing to do with practical everyday life:

The duration of cooling depends on the ambient temperature. The hotter the environment, the shorter the cooling time.
